Positive: The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The building is lovely with beautiful gardens. Rooms are well appointed and as per the photos on the website. Come to breakfast with a big appetite and you will still leave food on the table. It’s a short and easy walk into town with an excellent Saturday market. The location is a short drive to all of the attractions of the area but be aware of the time of the year you are travelling. We were the in the first two weeks of October and a lot of shops and restaurants were closed for the off-season.

Summary: It was a beau séjour.

Positive: Lovely people, comfortable room, nice French breakfast.

Negative: It was a little hot, but August heat, not to be helped. It was a bit tricky getting into the drive, however not a busy road.

Summary: Great for a nights stay, nice setting outside.
