“Excellent hospitality. Very clean.”

“1- RHouse Cusco is in a residential Cusco neighborhood. Almost a dark street. Gets spooky at night. Not an area that gives you feeling of safety. During the day the area becomes very noisy and apartment windows are not noise proof at all. Also it’s an uphill walk from the Main Street. About 10 mins taxi from plaza Aramas. 2- Apartments are not well cleaned. Found a pair of socks of a previous guest in one drawer. Shower was not easy to use and in one shower the water would not drain properly. The ventilation was not great so the toilet had a bad smell. 3- the kitchen was not very clean. It felt like we were using someone’s house that was in current use. Not what you expect from a hotel stay. 4- we got stuck outside the main building door during the mid afternoon timeframe as the receptionist was not present and door was locked from inside. Even if we had the key to the main door, the doors were securely locked from inside. We had to ring the bell, call the attendant. It took about 15 mins for the receptionist to open the door. Not a pleasant welcome back after a tiring early morning excursion. 5- the WiFi only worked in the living room area when it intermittently worked. Not in the bedrooms. A big inconvenience. 6- the room curtains are flimsy. They do not block light properly. 7- there is no heater provided. Extra blankets are what you get. 8- only good things about the RHouse are the comfy beds, views and the great friendly and helpful attitude of the receptionists.”

“Fantastic staff, proactive communication and Thank You to Dario who was fabulous. This apartment style hotel is about a 15 min walk to the city centre. So if you are looking for something close to the centre with more space this is a good choice. at our request Dario organised local transportation (airport transfers, local sightseeing a.k.a private car hire for the day, and even a 2am pick up from Plaza Regojico where Bi-Modal from Machu Pichu drops folks off). Summary: Location: About a 15 min walk to city centre and 20 minute cab from the airport. Great communication and very helpful staff. Apartment style hotel where they also rent out rooms individually or the entire apartment.”

“No hot water! Have to contact for service every time if we need to shower! Dusty room! Do not walk barefoot! And the room are super cold. We got sick because of the cold room. We finally got a heater but doesn't really help. Staff are helpful but not worth the headache. Also loud party noise at all nights. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!”

“The apartment is huge and a spacious, the place very clean and from the windows you can see the City of Cusco. We went during summer, however it was very cold. You would need a heater in every room to warm the place. It is located several minutes walking, please note it is up heal on the way back. We had a car, however it is not easy to find parking, we ended up taking taxi. Breakfast is limited. The staff is great!”
