Riad Adarissa Reviews
“I would definitely stay here again. The team at Riad Adarissa - Haddou and Ana in particular - were so welcoming and warm. I am so appreciative of their service and generosity over my say. The location of the riad is great and near landmarks - like the Blue Gate - so getting lost/navigation back to the riad is easy. Stepping out onto the main street turning right are local markets with mountains of fruit, home goods, local food supplies. It's great. Turning left are more local craftspeople stores with leather and textiles.l etc on the way to the famous tanneries. At the riad, breakfast is free and you can pay for a Moroccan dinner cooked in the kitchen by Ana. However outside on the main street are numerous really good restaurants you can enjoy as well. In particular Sodfa which is so homely to the right. And to the left I had Pastilla the Fes speciality and one of the others. The terrace in the roof has a great view of the rooftops of Fes. The Riad is beautiful. Housekeeping is great and the road is very clean. Yet the pictures of the riad make the Riad look a little bit more luxurious than it is. I would absolutely stay here again. But a few tweaks - like toiletries provided, double curtains on the room I was in rather than just a sheer one. Just a few cosmetic tweaks would make it perfect.”
“ A very beautiful place with kind hosts, the Riad Adarissa in Fes was a perfect place to introduce us to Morocco. We stayed in the Senior Suite, which was big for the two of us, decorated tastefully and even had a traditional bathing area. The room was well equipped with extra blankets and heat (we stayed during winter). The terrace had a panoramic view of many of the sites in Old Fes, including the Merenid Tombs (closed but you can still see them from afar). The breakfast was truly a continental mix of a Morrocan specialty (e.g., one pancake) and western breads. ”
“This riad is truly wonderful, conveniently situated within walking distance of the Blue Gate. The interior is beautifully decorated, and they offer a generous and delicious breakfast. Haddou, the host, was very kind and provided us with excellent recommendations. Our room was clean and comfortable. We sincerely appreciate our stay!”
