Riverview Hotel | Hotel in St. Marys, Georgia

“The stay was good. Its an old kinda hostel. Has plenty of character and charm. The staff was overwhelmingly hospitable and great. Would visit again”

“Great staff and beautiful place to stay. Keep up the good work.”

“Absolutely charming historic hotel! The onsight restaurant, bar, and speakeasy were fantastic. Really appreciate the easily accessible porch for water views, and people watching. The staff were very helpful.”

“Hotel was amazing! Restaurants amazing. Bars amazing. We never moved our car, walking to everything was wonderful.”

“Love this place!!!”

“Ok, but could use some up grading and maintenance on the property,”

“Right across the street was where you catch the boat to Cumberland Island. Great food and a bar. Assume decor we sat out on the veranda listening to the music from the bar not to loud and not to soft just right. Ice cream just across the street and some of the friendliest people you will mean”

“We always in enjoy our stay. This makes the third visit.”

“Location is the highlight of this historical hotel! Beautiful view of the water & easy access to the ferry (just across the street!). Staff are very nice. Rooms are small & definitely look like a historical bedroom & bath. Just a short walk to the park with swings by the water, where we like to bring a book & read. We have stayed at this hotel every time we come to St. Mary’s!”

“There are no rooms that are accessible for handicapped people. The stairs have a handrail on only one side with no elevator and no ground floor rooms. When I asked about how I would be able to get my bags and myself upstairs to my room, the desk clerk commented rather snidely that I should look for a different hotel. Not the slightest sign of sympathy or offer of assistance. The hotel is over 100 years old and it shows its age… not in a good way.”
