“Great fun to stay in a literal castle. Very helpful staff. Room was comfortable and quiet. Parking on site. Wonderful breakfast. No elevator (lift), but again this is an actual castle.”

“I felt like a king of the castle for a few days. Couldn’t fault any aspect of my stay even used the spa at sister hotel which was excellent. Really got to know my fellow guests. Definitely recommend 5 star all the way.”

“This place is truly unique. We were met at reception and shown to the breakfast room and various lounges, then to our room. All had spectacular views. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a kitchen area (as well as in the room) and an honesty bar. All are decorated to a 5-star standard. We ate at the local pub a short walk away along with other residents and had a very pleasant evening. The bed was comfortable and good quality toiletries in the bathroom-soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was first class using locally sourced products and staff very friendly. Excellent location for exploring Pembrokeshire Would definitely recommend Roch Castle and hope to visit again. ”

“Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities. She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!”

“This is a superbly restored space and quite unique. It has a few quirks that one should know and are represented by the property managers. There are no meals available outside of breakfast. If one has large pieces of luggage navigating it to ones room could be more than challenging. I am a bit surprised that there is no accommodation made in terms of staffing to provide assistance with luggage.”

“Roch Castle Hotel ticks all the boxes for a superb and unique experience. The hotel exudes luxury but in a calm and peaceful manner. A sympathetic restoration leaves many of the castles features evident in most rooms and public rooms. ”
