“I booked this room a couple months ago. Apparently the property changed hands since then and many of the amenities that were listed when I booked were no longer honored, such as a "3 course gourmet breakfast" and an "evening social with appetizers", No notice was given that we would be staying there during renovations (noisy, dusty, etc.) and that the amenities were no longer offered (even though they were still listed on their website). The place was a little dingy and just overall not really how the website made it out to be. I did speak (in a very friendly tone and tenor) to the new owner who was extremely nice and apologetic - which was good. The problem is, the said he would be giving me a little bit of a discount and agreed that the condition were not ideal, how ever I just got my receipt and there was no discount given. I would have left a better review had the owner lived up to what he said he would do. Hopefully it is improved after the renovations are completed, but I would not recommend staying here unless you confirm you are getting what you are paying for and that the rennovations are completed.”
