Positive: At the end of November 2025, me and my partner booked the rooftop terrace apartment. The exact address was a little difficult to find at first, but the friendly taxi driver called the accommodation for us and one block further on, the problem was solved. The host came to meet us with a friendly smile and his phone in his hand and welcomed us.
The private hosts immediately made us feel welcome. We were greeted with fresh fruit and shown the apartment, which offered enough space for four people.
The furnishings were simple yet elegant, cozy, and absolutely clean. The air conditioning worked, the refrigerator was stocked with fresh drinking water, and the bathroom was spacious and also very clean. The master bedroom was fully glazed at a right angle, with a view over the terrace, overlooking trees filled with birds and the landscape with mountains in the distance. In the evening on the terrace, we were fascinated by the flying foxes passing by at dusk.
Shopping facilities and public transportation were within walking distance. The price-performance ratio was absolutely unbeatable. But what impressed us most was the hospitality of our host family.
Whatever we needed, help was always provided immediately and in every respect. We also got to know each other a bit in personal conversations during our short stay and felt very well looked after in every way. For this reason, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks once again to our sophisticated hosts, with whom we will definitely book part of our longer stay this year.

Lovely.hosts, modern large apartment on roof area, family live below, offroad parking, well.stocked kitchen, outside balcony area with view of hills, supermarket and fast food store a 5 minute walk down opposite lane, nice garden area below, easy commute by car to downtown Port Louis.

The apartment was modern, clean, spacious, comfortable and cute! The host were very nice people. They were there to help us find the location and always helpful. I loved the large rooftop patio! It had a nice breeze and view.

host family was very friendly and helpful for us. rooms are clean and there is a huge barcony.
Negative:
the road around home is narrow and the dog was barking for us. The room was supper hot though one room has an air conditioner, but we saw 2 cockroaches in the kitchen and bed room.

The owners were very kind, always asking if we need anything. And supplied us with fresh food.
The parking lot is located inside the fenced property and easy to access.
Also in the nearby supermarket is only 5 minutes by foot and has everything you need.

The host, Ashwin, was very warm , friendly and constantly asked whether everything was ok.
Negative:
I had no idea prior to booking that a family lived downstairs. I thought I was a stand alone property.
Also the room had no wardrobes.
