Rooms at The Ritz Complex | Hotel in Desborough, England

“Hotel clean .bedding was all clean and fresh .would be nice if they had a mini fridge in the room . The bed needs new mattress or mattress topper as spring were not good”

“The hotel has ample parking, although I'd try to not park beneath the trees, as our car was buried under bird poo in the morning. The bed was quite uncomfortable because the springs were hard and lumpy. Everything else was brilliant.”

“Staircase very steep with narrow treads”

“Tidy clean rooms, well maintained and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to stay.”

“Great value for money, very clean and comfortable room. The receptionist was fabulous.”

“The staff were absolutely amazing and the area is lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again… unless it’s summer. Our room was on the top floor - it’s also worth noting that anyone who struggles with stairs would not be able to stay at this hotel unless there is ground floor rooms - the stairs are extremely steep and narrow so you have to walk sideways. The room advertises a fan which was partially why we booked but although a good one was provided, it did little to help. The heat rose through the property and the floor was hot to touch, as were the walls. It was very literally a sweat box. I know this is not usual weather, but I feel it is relevant to let others know that you will not be comfortable at all if it’s hot outside. Other than installing air con, there’s not much the hotel can do, but we ended up having showers throughout the night just to be able to breathe and at one point in the early hours we had to sit in the car to cool down.”

“Smallest box I’ve ever squeezed into”
