The Church dedicated to St Protus and St Hyacinth was a favourite of Sir John Betjeman CBE, Poet Laureate. Walkers can make their way up onto nearby Bodmin Moor to explore sites such as Jubilee Rock, Alex Tor or Roughter.
Port Isaac is a beautiful town famed for the TV series Doc Martin. Padstow is also within easy reach, as are other great places to visit including the surfing beach at Polzeath, the shopping town of Wadebridge, the Eden Project, cycling trails at Cardinham Woods, and many fabulous other beaches such as Trebarwith Strand and Bedruthan Steps. The Grade II-listed property Pencarrow House offers a fun, dog-friendly day out, while the National Trust property Lanhydrock is also close by. The immersive historical attraction The Story of Emily and the Cornish hedge labyrinth Kerdroya are also within travelling distance.

Please note: The property features steep stairs, so we ask guests to take care. While the property is only three miles from the A30, access is via narrow country lanes. Once you get back, unwind on the balcony most units feature, or head down to the pool and fitness center for a change of scenery.
