Royal Mountain is a hotel in Luxor that places you within easy reach of Medinet Habu Temple, Colossi of Memnon, and Deir el-Medina. The setting works well for travelers who want a practical base between archaeological sites and the city’s daily rhythm, with an outdoor pool, free private parking, and a terrace that gives the stay a relaxed, unhurried feel. A restaurant, room service, and a 24-hour front desk add to the sense that the essentials are handled without fuss. Inside, some rooms include a kitchen with an oven and stovetop, which is especially useful when you want a little more flexibility during your stay. Air conditioning and free WiFi are also available, helping the space feel comfortable whether you are resting after a day out or planning the next one. Where available, the room setup gives you room to settle in rather than simply pass through. Shared spaces are designed for ease, too. The garden and pool area create a calm pause in the day, while staff can arrange shuttle service when you need to move around Luxor or connect with the airport. Guests can also spend time cycling in and around the area, adding a simple active option to the stay. Royal Mountain is straightforward to reach from Luxor International Airport, and the property’s on-site parking makes arrival by car convenient. The experience is polished without feeling formal, with the kind of practical comforts that make it easy to return to at the end of the day. It is the sort of stay that keeps the focus on getting around Luxor smoothly, then coming back to a place that feels settled and uncomplicated.

Positive: A peaceful and relaxing place to stay in the West Bank, offering beautiful views of the desert valley from your balcony and an even more impressive panoramic view from the rooftop. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the hosts are incredibly kind and attentive: always ready to help organise anything you might need, from enjoying shisha on the rooftop to arranging guided tours. You can truly switch off and not worry about a thing.
* Check-in was seamless, with clear instructions provided in advance. I also arranged an airport pickup through the host (despite my delayed flight from Cairo, everything went smoothly).
* The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings meant no need for earplugs.
* Amenities included a kettle, dishes, and a large fridge, which was very convenient.
* The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel and soap.
* Drinks such as bottled water and soft drinks (e.g. Coke) were available to purchase at reception, while fresh juices like mango or strawberry could be enjoyed at the rooftop restaurant.
* Breakfast on the rooftop, overlooking the valley, was the perfect way to start the day. It’s simple but satisfying (Nescafé coffee, tea, bread, cheese, jam, and omelette).
* The tours arranged by the host, who is also a knowledgeable guide, were a highlight of the trip. They were tailored to my preferences, informative without being overwhelming, and completely hassle-free. Transportation was included, and having a guide who also looks out for you made the experience even more enjoyable. I booked two tours: the first covered the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Valley of the Queens; the second was a dedicated visit to Habu Temple.
Summary: Desert view & guided tours :)

Positive:
This is one of the best accommodation in our life. The view from the room and also from the terrace is beautiful on the mountains of the Valley of the Kings. The apartman was really modern and new, our stay was really comfortable, the host was also really kind and gentle. There were several opportunities for fun activities such as boat trip on the Nile, balloon flight or simply to visit the many amazing archaeological sites. This place is really perfect for long stays as you can easily find programs for a whole week or even more.
Summary: Beautiful view, amazing apartman, a really cool pool, it was simply perfect :)
