“Great place, clean room, helpful staff who showed us local walks and offered champagne on arrival. Bikes were available to borrow too which was excellent. Great grab-and-go breakfast too with delicious banana bread and good coffee options. Only slight hiccup was we were in a room with an adjoining door and the TV from next door was loud enough to disturb sleep after 11pm. However, this was rectified promptly and professionally by staff.”

“Great place, clean room, helpful staff who showed us local walks and offered champagne on arrival. Bikes were available to borrow too which was excellent. Great grab-and-go breakfast too with delicious banana bread and good coffee options. Only slight hiccup was we were in a room with an adjoining door and the TV from next door was loud enough to disturb sleep after 11pm. “It's a well kept historic hotel. As long as that's what you're expecting, you'll enjoy your stay. The staff were very helpful, and the food options on-site were good. The small downtown is a short walk from the hotel, and there are interesting things to do and see in the area. All in all, a fun stop for us.”

“We were greeted with champagne and cooling towels by Kari at the front desk. She was very friendly. AC in the cottage was great. There were cold drinks in the fridge and snacks in the room. Pompey’s was closed. We went to the pub. Drinks were good.”
