“Funky classic mid-century modern hotel. Clean. Decent breakfast. Central. Would recommend. The town of Lamia was an unexpected delay: I just stayed here as the nearest place to Thermopylae, but it is an engaging and lively town with lots of good restaurants and pubs.”

“The staff was so caring and were willing to bend over backwards to accommodate us. The breakfast met our needs and the coffee was good. There were some minor things however we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much for this gem in Greece. ”

“Guidebooks tend to say unpleasant things about Lamia. They are wrong,
The Hotel Samaras is very good at the basics. A clean and comfortable room. It is very close to both main squares with good restaurants and cafes and bars.
What makes the Hotel Samaras excellent is the people who work there. The desk staff was kind, and friendly, and helpful -- and also professional. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and first-rate.
Good people make a good hotel even better. Hoyel Samaras has an excellent staff.”

“The overall stay was good. The quality of the breakfast was poor. Food was left out the whole time coffee was cold yogurt and drinks warm.”
