“It was chilly during my stay so I did not require any air conditioning just the nice, warm duvet. I appreciated the tea provided and got the kettle from the front desk. Staff were outstanding in providing a taxi to the airport for 3 a.m. at a very reasonable price and helping me with my luggage and all other matters. The central location was appreciated as I bought and sent 88 postcards. The friendly, helpful staff was a big asset.”

“Very difficult people at reception on two different stays denied that I had a reservation despite showing Expedia paid booking. First room had mold on walls and a tiny bathroom and required that we climb four sets of circular stairs at 2 am. Second room was much better and bathroom was fine but air conditioner did not work. Breakfast pastry was sometimes not fresh. Location was good but no one speaks English only French.”
