“Lovely room. Excellent value for money for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and well maintained. We don’t use the bar and restaurant but it looked really nice. Would definitely book again and stay longer next time. Thank you San Clu!”

“Staff were friendly and helpful. The parking, there is no registration system, so anyone can park in the little car park, which is unfortunate if you are booking somewhere with designated parking. Reception and restaurant furnished lovely. Once you go up to the rooms, it gets a little dated. Some doors with no framing, walls with damage, and looks very tired. Room had air conditioning, which was nice. Bed was comfy. Curtains do not block the light out, so in summer you will be woken early hours. We was situated away from the corridor which was lovely. It was extremely quiet. We only heard 1 door slam when people left for breakfast, so can imagine corridor rooms could easily disturb you, but our room was peaceful. TV in the room worked well, plenty of channels and radio stations. Room also came with a hairdryer and soft towels. There was also tea and coffee facilties. Overall lovely, just very dated behind the scenes. We would stay again though.”

“Upon checking in the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel was well situated for the purpose of our visit, we only stayed 1 night and the room was good for what we needed. The only downside which we didnt realise until returning to the room at 11pm was that the generator units were directly outside our bedroom windows and gave off quite a loud hum all night, which being a light sleeper wasn't ideal but sadly that was just the luck of the draw with the rooms I guess.”

“The staff were all welcoming, friendly and efficient. The room was recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable with a great view. The breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. I would recommend this hotel.”

“Was lovely hotel room was amazing with sea views and of high standard. Staff were extremely good and communication was good. Even had use of sauna which we used and gym if you are fitness mad.Also had a band on Friday which was lovely and food in restaurant was brilliant too. Would certainly be going back and even stroll to town only takes 5/10 minutes.”

“Staff were very warm and welcoming - room and premises were great and maintained well. I’d maybe add some coasters to the room for the teas/coffees (and a few extra biscuits!) but aside from that, would happily stay again. Great coastal view from the room and easy parking too - which I think could be upsold more on here for potential guests comparing hotels. Thank you, San Clu!”

“For the amount of money we payed for the stay, the property seems outdated, in poor state, and not cleaned to the full extent as much as expected. The shower head came off and had to be screwed back in during the shower, speaking of the shower the drain was blocked up so would have to minimise water pressure to avoid overflow. The TV remote in the room was disgusting and seemed to never been cleaned. The hallways and lift to and from the room were outdated, as well as the room decor. Chipped walls and furniture with visible moisture damage on walls, and a window very difficult to open. The prices for breakfast and restaurant were way too high also. The only good part was the air-conditioning really.”
