“This place was amazing great location the town is just down the steep hill but thats it just one steep hill. The staff incredibly friendly always looking to make your stay worth while. I would stay here again and again.”

“The staff were very helpful and informative when we arrived. They explained everything perfectly and answered all of our questions. The resort and our room were all maintained. It was a great experience overall and I would stay here again.”

“There was nothing that we wanted for at the resort property during our stay. Though we did not make use their tour booking function, we did visit the iguana sanctuary on site, which is a reasonably priced must-do. Proceeds allow local Belizean children to learn more about their country and the environment. The on site restaurant (Running W) was fantastic. Bartenders knew their business, and we enjoyed well made cocktails and specials all week. Highly recommend. Our only critique is more of a warning, and not something the hotel management or staff can affect, it is just something guests should know… getting into town for dinner or drinks involves a climb down and back up a steep hill at the end of your evening. It’s totally doable, but it is just an advisory for the elderly or infirm.”

“I highly recommend this hotel. Is very classy and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have homemade legendary ice cream called rainforest that is worth going there for. They have jackfruit juice and a variety of local dishes that were comparatively priced to local restaurants. The rooms are top notch. We took the iguana tour at the hotel, which was very educational and enlightening. ”

“The property is super clean, well maintained and very quiet. We did not hear anyone from our room. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and super polite. It was great sitting at the pool at night and having a night cap with a cigar. The location is also very good, with the town at the bottom of the hill. The stay was far nicer than in San Pedro although it cost less.”
