The room was outdated. The floor had tiles which felt industrial. The furniture and facilities were just too outdated for me to feel relaxed here. The heater didn't work but they came and fixed it. I can't really sleep at motels due to the beds and pillows. I'm much happier on Marriott or Hilton beds but this was my only option on a stopover on my drive to the next big city.
Sandbar is an older style motel within walking distance to central Lakes Entrance including hotels and restaurants. What sets it apart is that it is very thoughtfully fitted out and hence has a very welcoming and homely atmosphere. It was very clean and very well maintained. It was very reasonably priced and represented excellent value for money, as witnessed by the fact that it was fully booked on a quiet week day. It was a very pleasant surprise and is highly recommended
Room Clean The Manager was very helpful We didn't have breakfast. Parking was good,right outside our room .I would recommend this Motel.
