“I believe we were given an upgrade. The top floor room was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The complementary wine split was very appreciated. The small village is easy to navigate and the hotel is easy to find. Breakfast is served at your table buffet style; pick what you want. You can also order hot items. The restaurant in the evening is prepared by a Michellin veteran chef.”

“From someone who travels to Europe multiple times a year, this has been my favorite stay so far. I would stay here every time I return to Rioja. The hotel is stunning. The room was cozy and elegant. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Never heard noise from other guests. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is lovely and delicious. My husband and I normally don't eat breakfast but after seeing the spread, we had to try it and it was phenomenal. It was like having a little breakfast pintxos crawl right at our hotel. The town is very quaint and beautiful so we took a stroll everyday. Briones was the perfect location in between Haro and Logroño and Santa Maria Briones was an absolute gem. Can't recommend this place enough!”
