“The property was perfect for our visit to Salzburg. We stayed six nights (originally planned to stay five, but added a sixth at the last minute, and the host was super-flexible about adding the night). The only drawback of this property is the street/traffic noise. If you visit during a time of year when you leave the windows open at nighttime, be sure you pack ear plugs. Otherwise, we loved everything about the flat. Very communicative and helpful host. Easy check in and check out process. Clean. Access to laundry facilities and bicycles. Great location if you don’t want to be in the middle of the city. Great walking and biking paths nearby. Easy bus options whether you are going into Salzburg (takes only about 10 minutes) or out to the countryside for hiking. And, if you want to walk into Salzburg, that's easy too. Just about a 25 minute walk.”

“The property was in a quiet residential area yet so close to the old town via bus just 100 metres down the road or 15-20 minute walk on a beautiful walking path. Eva was a wonderful host who showed us through our apartment on check in and gave us some valuable tips. We also utilised the upstairs laundry for a small fee which was most appreciated after a couple of weeks living out of our suitcases. Would highly recommend this place”

The apartment is in excellent condition, close to old town and just a short walk to the supermarket. If I go back to Salzburg again, I will definitely come back to Sauerweingut. ”

“A great place to stay. Having the space of a small apartment was so refreshing in the world of small European hotel rooms. The location was amazing. 25 minute walk to the old downtown and 45 to the train terminal. A great feeling of the "country suburbs" and just far enough away from town to be relaxing. We enjoyed just walking the quiet streets. Eva was a wonderful host. ”
