Positive: Newly renovated property in landmark building on the main marketplace -- perfect for taking part in Lichtenfels' annual basketry festival. Spacious apartment at back of property (so very quiet!) with nice view of church steeple. Fruit basket and appointed kitchenette were very much appreciated. Wide, well-lit staircase.
Negative: No real complaints. We were 2 floors up so an elevator to help with heavy suitcases would have been nice but I understand how that would be difficult to arrange in a historic building. The stairs were very creaky -- we hope we didn't disturb the other people staying in the building!
Summary: Perfect place to fully enjoy Lichtenfels!
