“The impression I had of the hotel staff was very good, but the response from the Japanese woman I spoke with on the phone before my stay was poor and rude. Despite the hotel not being inexpensive, we were shocked to find that my room had not been cleaned when we returned at night. We went to the front desk to request cleaning, then went out for dinner. When we came back, we found that only the bed had been made; the used cups and trash were left as they were, and, for some reason, the sash of the yukata had been placed on the floor. The drain in the bath was also poor, and after using it for a while, water began to accumulate. The staff who attended to me were good, so I don’t want to speak too badly, but for the price of the stay, the service was completely unworthy.”

“Staff are very friendly and helpful. Particular thanks to the young guy and lady who helped us call the car rental agency because we had some damage to the car. The hot spring is nice. It was a bit difficult to find eatlets for breakfast near the hotel as most open not until after 10am.”
