“I would recommend going to a regular hotel. The size of the room was impressive. We had a one bedroom king. The minimalist aesthetic was nice, however if you’re going with that aesthetic everything else needs to be pristine! That was not the case. The small sofa was covered in stains, it was absolutely filthy! There was a small throw on the end of the bed, so I grabbed that to cover the couch but it was also filthy! Had a huge crusted white stain/residue on it. There were scuff marks on the wall, a few of the cups in the cabinet weren’t clean, the seal on the shower door was peeling away…just not what I expected for what they charge per night plus the $500 incident hold. I asked for more towels and clean linens and never received them. The front desk staff are so far removed from what good customer service is it’s ridiculous! When I brought my issues to their attention immediately after check-in I was met with a “deer in headlights” sort of look followed by silence, then a very insincere apology. No offers to rectify the situation. Needless to say, wouldn’t book here again and they offer no parking options, at least that’s what I was told by the woman at the front desk.”

“The main reason we stayed at this hotel is because of their pool. We weren't told until we arrived that the pool was closed indefinitely. This HAS to be part of the description on your website and the hotel should have communicated this with us. We were charged a dog fee, but weren't allowed to use the dog run in the hotel. That is only available to permanent residents - it seems this is a dorm for rich kids. The furniture, carpets, and floors are a bit shabby and need updating or better cleaning (spots on the rugs and furniture). Mattresses and pillows need updating as well. We've stayed in the past and really liked it but this was a great disappointment. Finally - ditch the Keurigs and bring back the coffee maker! Don't think I'll go back if they can't guarantee the pool is open.”

“The initial room we booked had a foul odor and the front desk managed the situation quickly changing our room to one with a beautiful view. The room was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. We said we could actually see renting there. The amenities around the building were plentiful. My partner used the gym several times while I went running 3x during week with easy access to lakefront. The swimming pool was closed for work which I wish had been communicated on the booking or before as we are both in training and swimming was on our plan for cross-training but minor point. The building staff were always friendly and accommodating and the building was quiet. Would def book again!”

“The only thing I can think of is to bring your own coffee stuff, they have a machine that uses 2 provided pods, but it's last resort coffee. Everything else was good, especially the view, and for the price.”

“The location and view are beautiful, check-in was easy, and the apartment was surprisingly quiet despite being in the city center. However, I was very disappointed that we were not informed in advance that the pool and jacuzzi were out of service. I only found out through other guests’ reviews a few days before arrival. For a 10-night stay and at this price point, this was a major disappointment. I contacted the property several times and requested a small compensation of $25 per night, but no gesture was offered. The staff were also not particularly friendly or welcoming, and we often felt like we were bothering them when asking for something. Overall, great location and view, but disappointing communication and service, especially regarding the unavailable facilities.”

“The good: was able to get early check-in, great location for Soldier Field plans easy walk of about 15 minutes, corner apartment had good views. The not-so good: just not maintained well-faucet was loose in one bathroom, mold on the bottom of the shower curtain, kitchen drawer broken, slip cover on the couch. Also, calling an Uber to that location is impossible. It gives you a general pick-up spot. But, if you walk around the corner to the next door hotel you can get doorside pick-up. For the price I'll find a different hotel on Michigan Ave next time.”
