“Nice large room , 2 beds, with large ensuite and roomy shower, own fridge, kettle etc also well equipped shared kitchen/dining with comfortable lounges and sofas. Washing machines and dryers.”

“For the price you pay it's what you expect, it was clean so made up for the lack of. Loved the host, even came to the ferry to pick us up in his old jalopy 😆. For a one night stay it was amenable. ✌”

“Second night much improved after first night which was disturbed and noisy - people swearing and yelling, cars moving and doors slamming, loud music. Hot tub non existent.”

“Travelling on own and booked room in hostel. Did what it said on tin. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room secure and no negative vibes. I am 59 yearly old male travelling about for 4 weeks. Maybe should be spending more on hotels but would rather keep money for wine tours and trips on boats. Great value for what I paid and staff great. ”

“The gentleman running Sequoia is quite nice. The room was comfortable (we had a private ensuite, note that hand soap is not provided). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of seating. We weren’t able to sit outside to eat our breakfast as there were a number of chain smokers sitting at the outside kitchen table. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again”
