A nice place to stay for a night or two. The staff was pleasant and helpful. But not particularly well informed. The decor and interiors could use a dressings. The deteriorating front stairs by which one enters is a sign. There is a restaurant on site but it is not operated by the hotel.
Cozy place with New England charm. A welcomed departure from the sterile chain hotel experience. Lovely historic rooms with nice bedding and details. Located in the center of Simsbury, walkable location to shops.
Beautiful old inn, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean room. Bar was nice, bartender very friendly even gave us a quick look at the basement which at one time was believed to be a speakeasy in the old days, Beautiful stone work and archway. Shout out to Cheryl (not sure if spelling is right) who checked us in. We enjoyed talking to her.
