“Positive: the hotel was allocated in an old dock and our room faced the mountain and ocean which was very nice. Breakfast was quite good but not many hot food options. The bathroom was modern and has two shower points so it is a plus for couples! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was quite good but pricey ( well nothing is not pricey in Norway!!) Negative: The bed was too soft and the bathroom sink was too shallow. The spout of the tap was too long and as a result it was very hard to wash your hands or use the sink without spillage. Our room was on the first floor and there is no lift.”

“This hotel was truly a hidden gem! It was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to the Lofoten Islands. We stayed for two nights, but if we were to do the trip again, we would definitely use this hotel as our base for several more days. Everything was absolutely excellent. The dinners were outstanding, and the breakfasts were just as delicious. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!”

“The apartment was perfect! We received an upgrade to a 2 bedroom. Beds are soft, the bathroom is huge, all kitchen amenities are available, except for seasonings.”

“The area is very remote, with no nearby restaurants that are open for lunch during non-summer season. You will have to drive to Leknes or another town for lunch. The hotel has breakfast and dinner. The manager was very friendly but the female staff who checked us in was unfriendly and borderline rude. The room is super hot and the thermostat did not function properly. It was preset and did not lower the temperature when we used the thermostat to lower the temperature. The facility was understaffed. The front desk was often empty without anyone (only one person) and there is no phone from the room to call the front desk, fyi. Positives: The room was spacious, and there was free parking on site, which is great. They have laundry service for $20 per bag, but they forgot to run our laundry so we couldn’t get our clothes at the end of the day (usually they run it in the morning and pick up in the afternoon). The jacuzzi they advertise needs to be reserved and paid ahead of time. ”
