Spread Eagle Hotel And Spa places you in a historic hotel in Midhurst, set within its own grounds and shaped by centuries of use, with parts of the building dating back to 1430. This former coaching inn keeps a strong sense of place through sloping floors, inglenook fireplaces, and oak beams, while the setting feels grounded and quietly self-contained. The restaurant brings that history into the room, with an atmospheric stained glass window and a focus on relaxed meals without leaving the property. For travelers booking through Sonder, it offers a stay that pairs old-world character with the comfort of a full-service hotel. The hotel is also pet friendly, and parking is available on site.

Positive:
The room was small but very cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, there was a coffee machine in the room.
The breakfast and dinner were excellent and the staff very kind.
The massage at the SPA excellent.
Negative:
Maybe just the spa could have been improved. Other than the pool the other facilities were very small and would benefit from a renovation, but all in all was very pleasant!
