Positive: The house was beyond big we weren't crammed -lots of room we had family over for dinner that lives in Astoria that was so great to be able to sit down at a big table and be together, I slept in the queen bed above the fireplace living room and the bed was okay but then my grandson wanted me to sleep in his room with the 2 twins that little twin bed was like sleeping on a cloud it was great, they had enough garbage sacks, dish soap, laundry soap ect. for our stay, we even had bunnies in the yard
Negative: House could have been a tiny bit cleaner and better instructions I felt horrible about missing garbage day but if better signage or notes i would have gotten it done
Summary: wonderful

Positive:
This property is in a perfect location (close to everything) and has beach access close by. It was a trek to get to the beach but definitely worth it and it is the best beach for miles that I didn’t even know existed. The master bedroom and bath is huge and the bed is comfortable. There is a ton of room and it sits in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees.
Negative:
The only thing that I didn’t like was the couch in the family room was dirty (rest of house was spotless) and not very comfortable to sit on and I couldn’t get the tv to access more than one or two channels so I watched antique roadshow for three days. Not that big of a deal since we were not there to watch tv but a small thing that would have made it more comfortable.
Summary: Had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Really good location. Close to local places and the shore
Negative:
The 2 fry pans in the cabinet need to be deep cleaned before using. Were both not maintained/cleaned well by previous guests.....could use replacement.

Positive:
Great location. A bit of funky cobbled together architecture but crazy and functional. The master bedroom bed is in an alcove that is too narrow and requires crawling in and out from the foot of the bed. Super private from the other bedrooms that are also upstairs on the opposite side of the main building.
Negative:
The master bed was difficult to get in and out of. Outside camp chairs for the covered front porch or around the fire rind.
Summary: Crazy and spacious funky old farmhouse.

Positive:
The location was perfect for a chill birthday weekend getaway.
Negative:
The house is more dated than I would have guessed from the pictures. The beautiful claw foot tub was one of the main reasons we chose this place, but unfortunately there didn't seem to be enough hot water to actually heat a full tub.

Positive:
Great location. The house was roomy, clean and felt like home. We were able to cook some meals and we were just a few blocks from the beach. A great place to gather with family or friends. It was a nice quiet neighborhood.
Negative:
The bedrooms were upstairs. The stairs to the main bedroom (king bed) were fine but the stairs to the other two bedrooms (queen and twin beds) were a bit steep. Not a huge problem but might be for some folks.
Summary: A lovely gathering place near the beach.
