St Marys Gate Inn | Hotel in Arundel

Great place to stay amazing staff, great food.

Had a great couple of nights here. The hotel is in a beautiful position right next to the Cathedral. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was varied and delicious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely hotel with gorgeous decor, comfortable rooms & bed, and very nice breakfast. We had no hot water due to a plumbing issue the first day but this was rectified the next day. Otherwise a perfect stay. The Fauna Brewery opposite worth a visit!

Super clean and though not everything is perfect it was a very good stay. Super friendly people and really good room.

Staff were Loveley, restaurant great.

A very warm welcome and we were given a room upgrade, which was very comfy and spacious and much appreciated.

Conveniently positioned opposite the Cathedral. Limited parking behind the pub. But on-road parking outside the pub itself. Nicely decorated rooms. Extremely helpful, and friendly staff. Only a short walk to facilities shops/resaurants etc (albeit uphill on the return). Good food at the pub itself. Excellent continental breakfast selection

Easy access, nice bar, grest accommodation

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. The staff were uniformly friendly and efficient with a good selection of beers and spirits at the bar. We ate dinner one night and the food was well cooked and of a very good quality. Our only minor ‘gripe’ was being unable to get a drink at the bar after returning from a meal out in Arundel at 9.40pm but otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay!

There would appear to be a plumbing issue, was in one of the 3 rooms located outside the main building and everytime someone went to the toilet or run a tap or shower, there was a lot of banging, obviously the plumbing needs repaired. The shower was not the cleanest either, could do with a good scrub. There were cigarette ends lying around the door.
