Starlite Resort | Hotel in Saugatuck

This was my first time back staying at Starlite in many years. A top notch experience from beginning to end. I was once in the historic bed-and-breakfast business and I understand what it takes to do an excellent job. Kudos to the lovely owner who I met at check-in.!

I loved that the room had an air conditioner, an air purifier, and a dehumidifier. And everything was sparkling clean. I would return in a nanosecond.

Staff was great and room was clean. Bed was not as supportive as we'd like and the AC had some noises that woke us up but I'm guessing it was just our room. Water pressure was great. Having the heated pool and hot tub we great. Fire pits were nice too and they supply the wood. They also had a dehumidifier in the room and a fan which were great to have.

Great for a weekend stay in Saugatuck. Very friendly gentleman at the front desk. Loved the van availability so we didn’t have to drive.

Everything was great fire pits,pool, outdoor gas grills. The one that was missing was an extra chair our room would have been nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Great property - clean, comfortable and welcoming

The owners did an admirable job of re-doing this vintage motel and the owner was very friendly greeting us. The bed was comfortable for the night and it was nice having the large outdoor pool. The motel is conveniently located. We did not go to the breakfast that was included. Some things we thought fell short: Small, thin and very rough bath towels and no towel bar. We could see the patched wall where one used to be. (Travelers can always use extra hooks or towel bars!) And besides the AC unit, there was the noise of a dehumidifier in the room as well as an air purifier. Cabinet handles and office chair frames quite rusty, explaining the need for the dehumidifier. A walk-off mat either outside or inside somewhere would be nice. We felt like we were tracking in dirt directly onto the carpet.

Very clean, friendly staff, and beautiful property!

We were pleasantly surprised with this little pet friendly gem! King suite was spacious, clean, comfortable and very quiet. Grounds were well maintained and perfect for morning and evening strolls. All of the outdoor seating areas and fire pits provided a nice touch. Perfect location to downtown Saugatuck with easy access to Holland. Would highly recommend The Starlite!
