Highly recommend for any stay

Rooms was wonderful - spacious and bed very comfortable. Had glasses, coffee maker and fridge. Towels were adequate - not fluffy and big enough. Only issue - no staff at front desk when we arrived - another couple was also waiting. And had to wait when we checked out as well. Lots of parking - well lit and only 20 min from NOTL

The hotel was actually quite charming but located in a time-worn part of town. We were very disappointed in our first view of our room which was extremely dusty. There was no housekeeping on staff at the time and the front desk receptionist took on the job of cleaning our room for us while we went for dinner. The room, itself, was well-appointed, the bed comfortable and we stayed for two nights. It was an easy drive to Niagara-on-the-Lake and less expensive than anywhere in that town. There was a restaurant on site.

Visit was exceptional. The only complaint, if one could call it a complaint, was there was only one small round bar of soap in the bathroom for 2 people.

Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel. Lots of pluses: 1. The room was beautiful and the hotel has an overall historic charm about it. 2. The bed was very comfortable. 3. There was a wedding on during our stay and our room was right over the hall where the wedding was taking place. When we returned from dinner, the noise from the wedding was loud as we waited for the elevator in the lobby and we expected we were going to be listening to that all night, but the hall must have been sound proofed because we could not hear a thing in our room. Areas for improvement: Cleanliness of the room left a little bit to be desired. Nothing gross, but just small things like the lampshades had not been dusted in a long time. Feedback to hotel: This is not a reason not to stay there but just some feedback for the hotel: the coffee table in the room we were in is a dark wood that is almost entirely invisible when the lights are out. I got up in the night and went to go across the room and remembered the location of the table at the last second. Because of how low it is, if I had run into it I almost definitely would have crashed down on top of it. Putting luminescent strips or something on the edges of the table surface so that the dimensions of it can be seen in the dark would be a good idea to prevent injuries.

The room was spacious and clean. Some of the furniture is dated. I will definitely return.

The room was nice. Front desk was not always manned but it wasn’t a big deal.

Stuff is really helpful and since it is slow day we were allowed to check out later then 12.30 pm. It is great

Amazing hotel, very friendly staff and a great value with beautiful rooms. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Niagra.

This place is a gem very very clean rooms are well appointed and in excellent shape. Beds are very comfortable. Well there is a restaurant on site however it's not open for breakfast they do open at 11 so early lunch . I highly recommend Stone Mill in for those who want 5 start accommodation at a most reasonable price.
