Stone villa with great views. | House in Kambresko

Arrive, unpack, feel at home.
The Hisa Kal villa was completely renovated in 2012 into a luxury holiday home and is located at an altitude of 950 meters at the top of a mountain ridge. This gives Hisa Kal an unparalleled view over the Julian Alps, the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea. From the terrace with stone outdoor kitchen you can watch the sun go down in the sea. This makes Hisa Kal unique and one of the most beautiful holiday homes in the area.
The villa has three spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a smaller bedroom, an intimate dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and a living room with a panoramic view of the mountains over the entire upper floor. Outside you will find two covered terraces.
Behind Hisa Kal are extensive forests where you can walk or mountain bike for hours. At the bottom of the mountain lies the Soča Valley, the region for outdoor activities. Hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, parachuting, rafting / kayaking on the clear blue Soča river, canyoning and horse riding are wonderful activities to do here. Don't forget to visit the romantic wine region of Goriška Brda.
Whether you are looking for complete rest or opt for an active holiday, Hisa Kal will delight everyone.

Stone villa with great views. Reviews
Hisa Kal is a wonderful place. A romantic and very well equipped house. We really missed nothing. The awesome view over the hills and valleys of the southern Slowenien Alps is breath taking! If breakfast on the upper floor or dinner on the terrace you’ll have an unbelievable view. We recommend this accommodation very much.
This beautiful home makes a great base for exploring the Soca Valley and beyond. The house itself is beautiful, and very well equipped. The games chest was much used, and the PS4 was useful for rainy days. The owner was super quick to get things sorted when we had trouble with one set of keys. They also kept in touch, and gave some great recommendations on where to visit, and to eat. The trip to get water was not onerous, but may be a challenge for anyone who cannot lift and carry the Jerry cans. Also, the location is rural, and remote as expected, but as the only driver I did find the daily drive a little stressful....those are some interesting roads! All in all, we would definitely recommend.
Hisa Kal provided a large, well equipped, clean and luxurious 11 day holiday retreat for my teenage family and dog. Although 20 minutes from the nearest village, we loved the isolation - fantastic views of the mountains from both the patio and second floor lounge. The surrounding Soca valley provided no end of adventure activities and further afield there are plenty of tourist attractions - all within around an hour. I hate driving, but the very windy road to the house was good tarmac and created no problems. The town of Tolmin is a pleasant 30 minute drive and has good facilities, it is also a music festival hot-spot. We booked Hisa Kal directly through VRBO but dealt with Helena at Slovenia Estates, who was efficient and helpful. During our stay Slovenia Estates were also very prompt in dealing with the couple of minor issues we encountered. We will definitely return to Slovenia - spectacular scenery, great activities and very friendly people. When we booked we were slightly concerned about how rural the surrounding area might be, but we all agreed that we wished we had stayed longer at Hisa Kal.
