Positive: Comfortable room.
Negative: Very old facilities. Also very annoying to be told that they don’t take credit card and then you need to go running around to get cash to pay. I am using booking.com for convenience. I don’t want to spend my holiday finding you cash and pay $20 to transfer money to your personal account so you avoid tax
Summary: Comfortable but dated

Positive:
The pictures truly did not do the place justice — it was even better in person, and I only wish I had stayed longer.
Unfortunately, while relaxing by the pool, I lost my very valuable reading/sunglasses, and my leather sandals, which was quite unfortunate. There was also a small inconvenience in the room, which I already discussed with the host. She was very understanding and promised to address it, and honestly, it was no one’s fault.
Overall, despite these experiences, I would still rate the place 10/10.
Negative:
On booking.com, while searching the prices are in Kshs but while paying it is in dollars, i found this abit weird as i was paying by cash hence i had to top up abit
Summary: Awesomeness

The host is very responsive and will make sure you get the best experience for your stay. The place is also very secure and you'll enjoy the easy access to the beach.
There are also lots of restaurants nearby, in like 10 mins walk, plus the transport is affordable since it's close to the town center.
Summary: Very comfortable and one of the best places I've been so far

Positive:
-The unit was very clean and well maintained. It is spacious with comfortable furniture indoors and on the balcony. There is excellent water pressure in the bathroom and kitchen.
-The staff were really friendly and kind from the minute I arrived- the guard at the main gate, the one at the beach gate, the gentleman who moved my pool lounger to a better spot. Sophie was especially accommodating when I had to finish a bit of work before check out.
-Reliable internet access
-Was nice to have the AC when I was working indoors.
-The balcony. Apart from a pretty garden view, I could work at the table there at the cooler times of the day.
-Evening walks on the beach
-The kitchen had everything I needed on the day I chose to cook.
-Swahili restaurant (Seafront) is a few minutes away by tuktuk, or walking distance if one is not in a hurry.
Negative:
The KPLC electricity was unstable on the first night, and there seemed not to be power backup for the compound. Thankfully, supply stabilized by morning and was fine for the rest of my stay.
Summary: I wish I were staying longer...
