Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel | Hotel in Carrabassett Valley, Maine

“The rooms are a little dated & we were there for a wedding & for a lot of people the air conditioning was not working in the rooms .. But our room was spacious & had fridge .. There are several eating option but times are limited to each one but was great! The staff was was absolutely amazing !!!”

“Staff was excellent. We were here for a wedding and the front desk, restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms were clean, housekeeping did a good job. Furniture could use a bit of an update in the rooms, just a minor detail.”

“Room is always clean. Staffs are great, friendly, and helpful. One thing is that the water came out from the shower the light -brown color, when I turned it on. The brown- color water will come out for a few second. Then it will become clear color This happened for again and again untill the fourth day. Thecl rest of the stay. I had no such issue.”

“Overall, the hotel is a nice experience. Amazing, hot tub however it closes too early.”

“Quiet and relaxing in the summer. Easy access to great hikes!”

“Very clean, cosy and confortable hotel. Excellent white sheets and towels. Large fridge but t's a pity not to have a microwave in the single queen bedroom. Thanks to have such quality of hotel in the area.”

“The room was perfectly clean. The staff was extremely helpful! Great stay . Came on July.”

“We had an amazing time staying in the resort. Our room was spacious and beautiful, the beds were comfortable, we even had a kitchenette. The staff were friendly and hospitable, the lady at the front desk was very nice. We also enjoyed the spa and the restaurant. We will certainly come back”

“We stayed at this ski resort hotel during the off season in order to go hiking. Because it was off season, the price was quite reasonable for what we got. The room was huge and included small kitchen counter and sink. Fridge was larger than many hotel fridges. Nice closet. Full size dresser. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Be aware that the only breakfast option is a sit down restaurant that is not open every day and doesn’t open early. There are are no coffee or donut places in town. This caught us off guard but was fine after the first morning. (We visited a grocery store). The pizza restaurant across the plaza was quite good. It was pretty much the only place open so we ate there two days in a row”

“The rooms were very clean and well supplied”
