Great place to explore the greater Shasta area.

Good overall. Room door was wide open upon arrival and that was strange. But all went okay otherwise.

Huge room! Very comfortable everything looked brand new in the room, great beds, and bathroom. Nice outdoor space for gathering with picnic tables, this place is great for families, or groups traveling together. Beautiful location with a short walk to a great Cafe. Pet friendly, perfect for our big husky!

I stayed in the bunkhouse room which was a different experience. It's room 30. It's hard to find cuz it's not labeled anywhere. So I had to call to ask where it was and it's up a staircase inside a locked Lobby. So it turns out that my room code unlocks the lobby and also my room door with the same code. But I had no instructions on this beforehand. The room was fairly filthy with dust and dead bugs all over and live bugs too. There was hair stuck in the drain of the shower which was disgusting. And there was no deadbolt lock on the room itself. So just the five-digit code to get in, which who knows how often they change that. But once you're in there, you can't set a deadbolt to make sure nobody comes in in the middle of the night. There were bugs and small red spiders on the beds but fortunately none of them were bed bugs so it was just kind of a nuisance.

Nice room, very clean and functional. There is kettle for making hot water but no coffee so bring your own.

Couldn’t get the tv to work. Coffee is instant Folgers and no creamer available. The ac/heating unit was really loud. Otherwise was a great place. Quiet and the room was a good size.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The first time was a bit better. The room I had on the second time (room 5) was advertised as having multiple beds, however it was actually a smallish bed and a sofa bed. This wasn’t going to work for 3 adults and a large dog. The staff via text was helpful though and we were able to book a second room. There was also someone else’s leftover food left in the refrigerator in the room that I had to throw away. Also, the shower was so small (and I’m a very normal sized adult woman) I could hardly fit. The first time I stayed I was in room 1 and it was much roomier.

Got in late and there was no front desk clerk available. No one to call, had there been a problem.

Would be particularly great for someone coming to hike the mountains or ski. We were just passing through so didn't really need the amenities for staying a few days.

Loved the uniqueness of this hotel. Will definitely stay here again.
