Sundown Inn Reviews
Summary: I read reviews before booking this because the price was cheap, but it was one of the only places left with rooms in the town and I needed to stay one night. The place was rundown and the walls and everything were dirty. It needs a major facelift. The bed was actually not bad but everything else had a dirty feel to it. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The TV was not working when we got there and the staff came down and got the problem fixed immediately. Can’t complain too much. It was cheaper than most places and did the job for the night.

Summary: The inn is old and outdated. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom, the tub was cracked, and the shower curtain was inefficient. While the room included a hairdryer it was mounted on the wall outside of the bathroom. There was no vanity light over the bath sink the opening covered by a metal plate. The bedspread was soiled and in desperate need of dry-cleaning. The exterior road noise was constant extending throughout the night. It would have been impossible to sleep without running the a/c unit throughout the stay. We made a hasty reservation decision for this inn when our regular accommodations were booked and we had no date alternative. We had a non-refundable reservation which was a mistake. We will not stay in this inn again.

Summary: It wasn’t bad for the price paid. It was in the center of town so businesses were within walking distance. And we weren’t bothered by the traffic either, it was quiet. The staff was very friendly.

Summary: When I arrived at the Motel. I noticed the sign said no pets allowed. The door to the office was locked and it was late in the afternoon A lady opened the door and went behind the front desk and she seemed agitated but she continues to check me in and I asked her about the no pets allowed sign and she said they they didn't allow pets but I asked her than how come it's listed on the hotels.com website as dog friendly and I showed her that it was listed as dog friendly then she mentioned that she would have to ask her husband permission and he responded back saying that he would allow my dog if I paid an extra $25.00 fee and I did pay the fee and I was checked in. The motel was decent and roomy. There was a convenient store next door to the motel and there was a Mc Donald's and a Starbucks across the street from the motel. The place was usually quiet but there were occasional cars screeching tires and speeding down the road. When I checked out of the motel, I took my dog out to go the bathroom but he couldn't wait and he began to pee in a grave area in front of my room and the Manager saw me and he appeared to be very upset but I took my dog off the property and he pooped in the grass on the edge of the road near the motel then I cleaned up after my dog and I returned the key to the manager in the office and he snatched the keys out of my hand and said nothing as I left. I'm disappointed in my stay and I won't be returning to that property again.
