“Great value. Room was small but tidy, clean and comfortable. The hot water took a while to get through but it got there eventually! Air conditioner was noisy but I could still fall asleep. Walking distance to food and other amenities. I would recommend staying here.”

“Good location (Cache Creek is pretty small so all hotels are well situated). Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Room was small but well apportioned. The kitchenette was excellent and was the little coffee bar. Would stay again.”

“An older motel that is nicely remodelled. Kitchenette was well equipped for a small room with nice touches like an air purifier and a large size mini fridge which was bigger than some we encountered in our trip. Nice to be able to back up to your room to unload especially when you have food to put in the fridge. Nice barbecue area that was well equipped. Only complaint was that the kitchen sink tap is stuck on spray mode. Needs fixing. In unit 7 Annoying heavy spray goes everywhere.”

“Not so clean. Was confused by the high reviews. We stayed overnight only but upon inspecting the room, it was dusty behind the bed and the lamps had a layer of dust on them. Makes me wonder if they ever vacuum the place. The floor was slippery. There were mouse droppings in the cabinets where the utensils are stored. Some hairs on the floor and limescale in the bathtub. Air conditioning barely cooled the room even when the temperature was cranked down. It was uncomfortable and hard to sleep at all staying here. On the upside, the manager was accommodating enough to give us instructions when we called to inform them that we couldn’t check-in within the check-in time frame.”

“The room was cozy, bedsheets and towels seemed okay clean. Toilet was super tiny though, bathtub and toilet seemed a little old. Convenient location, parking was easy in front of the motel, there was a Tim Hortons just across the road for breakfast.”

“This was the smallest room we experienced from a budget motel on our 6 day trip by car from Ottawa to Vancouver. The bathroom (4 piece) was cramped. One reason I have given it a poor rating is there was a very noticeable bad smell like mildew or something of the sort, in the bedroom, although the place was very clean, the bed comfy and it contained the requisite fridge, freezer, coffee maker and bedside tables etc. But the price was at least 1/3 again more expensive than the average price for the other motels we stayed at. So the size of the room and bathroom, the bad odour and the price all determined for me the rating. Incidentally, there was a taco place (but offering much more) about 5 minutes up the road to Prince George (#97) which felt as if we were dropped into a Mexican cantina in Mexico, and the food was good and offered generous toppings of whatever was ordered. Definitely worth a visit. Speak Spanish if you know how! Finally, if you can drive down highway 99 instead of 1 to get to your next stop do so, it is spectacular beyond belief but you can't be rushed as the road is winding, but the scenery encourages a very leisurely pace. The day we went down there was little traffic. The Fraser River Canyon was a highlight of our drive from Ottawa to Vancouver, all Canada side. It also gets you into Vancouver from the north side. Very convenient for catching the Horshoe Bay Ferry to Vancouver Island.”
