“As there aren’t many hotel options in the area, and most others are quite expensive, this place is a great find. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it offers beautiful sunset views, and if you’re staying in Room 3, you'll have a great view of Le Morne. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store and Kind Coffee shop, which my Le Morne guide said was the best coffee he had in Mauritius. This is a great base for exploring the southwest of the island. The only downside was a foul smell near the toilet.”

“Sunset Villa was my home in La Gaulette for a week. A spacious location and kind hosts who were extremely helpful. I will try to return to this magical location one day. ”
