“We stayed in an oceanfront room for one night and it was absolutely the best. The location is so beautiful. We had a beautiful sunset and the tide pools were fantastic. Our room was spacious and clean. We even had a visit of an enormous elk at night (he stood in front of our patio doors enjoying the grass). Cannon Beach is a very cute place, ultimate vacation feeling.”

“Great location near haystack rock. The value for the money scores a zero - crappy mattress, plastic furniture, mediocre shower/water pressure, etc. Helpful that the hotel offers a shuttle to the downtown shopping area but would be more helpful if the front desk would answer the phone when a pick up was needed. in general no one picks up the phone so calling for basic help requires a few tries. While there's a restaurant on site, they do not hold tables for guests so one has no choice but to drive or walk 15 minutes to town for food (which would be fine if you don't have small children). Bonfire on the beach was a nice add and this is why I didn't only give a single star.”

“A very nice place that makes you feel at home. Great cookies when checking in and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. Can walk to many different restaurants and shops. Will stay here again when back in the area. First class facility.”

“Room was great, and the view of the beach was awesome. My only complaint would be the bed is hard and the pillows were not that comfortable. Otherwise great property and location. Cannon Beach is a quaint. Nice beach town.”

“Beautiful location and fabulous room. Top-notch amenities! I highly recommend the private bonfire on the beach at sunset. It was unbelievable. However, it should be noted that not every room has a view of Haystack Rock off their balcony. Many do…but not all. It’s a quick walk to see Haystack Rock (for those who can’t see it) but I was under the impression (based on all images and descriptions) that we would walk out on to our balcony and *voila!* the iconic view would be right there. It’s a pretty steep price to pay for a room to then be disappointed.”

“Easy and fast access to the beach, clean and comfortable rooms, bonfires, and special social gatherings on some nights. Helpful and friendly staff. Great and convenient location for walking to either end of town. We do not move our car once we arrive. Resort is expensive, but worth it. We bring our young family members here and they have such a wonderful time.”
