Beautiful fresh flowers from the host were there on arrival, all grown on the premises, along with a lovely welcome gift.

Positive: The open plan design of the lodge was perfect for our group of friends.
The bedrooms were spacious and we liked that each had its own en-suite.
The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking together.
We liked the rural location and the walking routes directly from the lodge.
Negative: Very little to criticise because we liked everything very much indeed. Maybe the fridge could have been bigger given the number of people and the lack of shops nearby for provisions.
We struggled a little to find the address in the dark. Much easier in daylight :-)
Summary: Very comfortable and well designed cottage - perfect for our weekend of walking, cooking, doing puzzles amd relaxing

We liked the location easy to get to places like Hever Castle the welcome pack of fresh eggs and sausages thank you and the lodge was comfortable and clean.
Negative:
Could do with a few more mirrors in the bedrooms and the noise from the planes which we know there is nothing you can do about as it is near to Gatwick,

Polly was very welcoming and left us fresh home-grown tomatoes, cucumber, eggs, and milk from the farm. We enjoyed our stay at Swallow Lodge, in the very peaceful location. We walked to the local nearby Plough Inn pub one afternoon. The lodge was extremely new, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Lingfield.
