“We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. The lodging is on a very busy street in Elgin. The room itself was very nice and clean, so for a solo traveler, or perhaps anyone younger than us, this may have been the perfect stay. It had a shared kitchen and laundry, which was what we were looking forward to. Unfortunately, itjust wasn’t suitable for our age and the needs that we have.”

“This place is convenient for the elgin town center and all the groceries are walking distance.
The main problem is the noise that comes into room during eves and nights!

“Great room could do with double glazing windows bit noisy at night but apart from that great Place ”
