Positive: Great facilities for the money. Many great hikes nearby, including galdhøpiggen. Very nice host and dog. We were pleasantly surprised to find a boot dryer, which was nice when you wanted to hike every day but kept coming home with wet boots. The city nearby was very nice, and sold a lot of very cheap hiking gear, even though norway is known to be very expensive.
Negative: You have to drive if you want to go anywhere, unless you want to walk at least 3km on the road. The only thing we missed was the option to just go for a little walk.
Summary: Very nice place, great value for the money. Just be prepared to use your car a lot.
