“Exceptional Stay – Relaxed, Well-Equipped, and Welcoming in an amazing atmosphere, the monks quarter of the Temple. A perfect start to our Japan trip. We had a fantastic stay! The atmosphere was calm and very inviting. The place was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Unlike many accommodations, everything here was high quality – from the hair dryer to the fully equipped kitchen with great utensils and cookware that felt good to use. The amenities were excellent, not the usual budget options. The temple area with its softly lit bell house added a beautiful, peaceful touch. The host was very friendly and made sure everything was ready for us – we didn’t miss a thing. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again!”

“It was an amazing experience in my hometown, appreciated all moments of it. Shunkosan was really helpful and amazing host for our needs. Zazen and chanting experience are to be remembered. Definitely would like to come back.”
