“The statement that there is a 24/7 front desk was misleading in my particular experience. I arrived to the lobby via general code provided only to find another frustrated guest that had been attempting to contact(two phone numbers, app messaging and whatsapp) for an hour without success. I started my own and eventually got a response (my room number and access code) 35 minutes later. Setting the false expectation of a manned front desk can only lead to problems and unmet expectations and disappointment… all in all a recipe for poor customer satisfaction…. My 2 star rating stands”

“Very clean and spacious, great location, didn’t fully realize that there isn’t anyone on site, so we had to wait a bit to check in. All communication is either via text, phone or whats app. Would still stay again.”

“The Alexander has a great location for walking around. The food choices in the area are great.
All communication was done on line. No onsite reception with a person.
The room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the pull out couch bed.
As the 3rd adult I was on the pull out and for the two nights I had the mattress on the floor as the frame was extremely uncomfortable for an adult.
We still recommend the Alexander just be aware if using the pull out.

“Very nice property in the Old Montreal neighborhood. Perfect for tourists and easy to get around. Lots of great restaurants nearby and historic locations to see.
Room was nice and fully equipped.”
