The Alpine Motel | Hotel in Collbran, Colorado

“We were traveling with our two kids and a dog and the Alpine Motel ended up being a great place to rest our heads at night. The motel was clean, easy to check in, and convenient for access to the Grand Mesa. The room has a pretty good sized refrigerator and microwave. The snack room is an added bonus and was great for getting coffee in the morning. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.”

“Super efficient and clean. Loved the check in and snacks etc. So comfortable and perfect for such a quaint little town!! Will definitely stay again!!! Thanks!!!”

“No host at regular and difficult to reach by phone. The motel is much more Cowboy than Alpine. No hot water. Alarm went off at 6am and we couldn't turn it off. Internet was ok and Brandi's restaurant nearby was very nice ”

“Visited for a conservation event located at the Job Corp Center. Just 5 minutes from the event. Right across the street from the library where i had books sent for the event. Walking distances to get dinner. Needed some equipment for the event ACE hardware was just across the street. The room had everything to make my stay pleasent & restful.”

“Room was very clean, however I couldn't get into the bathroom with my Walker as the door and room itself was too small. ”

“It was nice and clean ”

“Very noisy - street and hotel parking. Floors sticky! Otherwise very clean. Very poor lighting.”

“Little Motel nestled in the center of a small mountain town. Walking distance to a Pizza place(fair) and a bar and grill(very good). Grocery store across the street, very nice owner. I see a lot of reviews talking about the angry store owner, but we experienced great hospitality. The Motel has no check in(not a problem), they text you a code for your room and the front desk. Most of the time nobody but the cleaner is onsite, was not an issue for us. The front desk has chips, frozen hot pockets, drinks and coffee. All free, with a tip box if you feel like it. My kids enjoyed it, so I tipped. Room was clean with some updates. Shower was hot, beds were comfy. More than I expected for a motel. The front desk was a huge + for my family. Will stay again on our next visit to the area.”

“Room was very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed. Water pressure is horrible, but I found it that's a town thing, so no fault to the motel.”

“The room was very clean and met our basic needs. The beds were comfortable (for us - realizing that is a very personal preference), it was quiet and in a good location. The rooms are simple, and honestly outdated - but it was fine. There isn't on site staff, other than the cleaning person who checked in on things serval times and was very friendly, but it all worked well. We would definitely stay there again. Just don't expect resort or high-end hotel service or amenities - it's not that at all. But everyone was friendly and it was clean and worked great for our needs. ”
