Summary: Great customer service! Nice decor, comfortable bed! Area is struggling in spots, but everyone is friendly and some great restaurants and an unique shopping area! Will definitely return!

Summary: Nice rooms with fair amount of space in a remodelled older section of DTLA. Decent walking distance to Arena and Little Tokyo as well as quick access to Subway and bus. They don't offer a ton of amenities, but in room dining of a sort is offered. Location is fairly secure with a pincode required to enter front gate, front door and to operate elevator. Check in and check out easy and Hotel staff communicate regularly through hotel app or third party messaging. Front door is on opposite side of building from google maps expectation. Room was quite warm when we arrived, likely AC was flipped on in room only minutes before check in. Room I was in had window AC unit in middle and exposed windows on either side that could not be covered because pulling the blinds down would have blocked AC. This left large blocks of bright light shooting into my room that I ended up blocking with some of my pillows so that I could get sleep.

Summary: The hotel was nicely styled and room was chic looking. The staff was super nice and friendly. However, there was no microwave or coffee maker in the room -two vital and basic necessities for anybody traveling! The hallways leading to the rooms were stiflingly hot. Upon check in at the room, the room was incredibly hot and we had to turn the window ac on and wait for the room to cool down-not ideal after a long drive.

Summary: Clean for sure. Lovely staff, very helpful. Modern, trendy spot with a really odd layout, but I guess that's LA. We had friends staying in the penthouse, but it blocks away; too far of a walk after dark.
The lounge was closed, sadly. Menus and QR codes were in the room, but there was no kitchen to bring food from. I'd take the menus out if I was the owner. The burger joint (Glory) downstairs nextdoor was awesome though. They even stayed open late one night after a show at the Orpheum let out. Nice owner!
Other things: My friends were in a studio room, and they really needed black out curtains like we had in our regular room with 1/5 of the windows.
One more room recommendation: they need some sort of a light in the closet. With black paint, you cannot see in the closet. Even a push button light on the wall would help.
For the record: none of these "complaints" were enough to not enjoy our stay! Just tryin' to help :)
