My husband & I stayed over August bank holiday weekend for two nights. The room was compact. It was tricky my side of bed, sleeping against the wall with no bedside table to keep water on. Plenty of tea/coffee available & bottled water. Nice bedding/towels but no where to hang these to dry. That said, these were small things as the staff, pub, food, locals all made up for this! Such an amazing friendly pub. We had our Sunday lunch which was the BEST EVER! Fish & chips again amazing. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. We were advised on some great places to visit & we would certainly stay here again. Thank you guys! ☺️

Stayed here for a long weekend visiting family. Fantastic location. Pub food, very good, very good service etc However the cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom walls are filthy; the bathroom sink is filthy. It all needs a good scrub with Cif or similar and wiped down; the room and bathroom were full of cobwebs as well... It's really not hard to see them and even less hard to get rid of them! The rooms are tiny as well; no wardrobe, no light where the table / mirror is for the ladies to do their makeup etc Simple things that need to be sorted would make it much better!
