“Our stay in the hotel was spectacular. The ONLY complaint was with the parking garage below the building. It took at least a half of an hour from the time we got out of our vehicle until we got to the front desk. There is a maze of steps that must be taken for which there are no directions. Other than that, we couldn't ask for more.”

“Parking is not great as it is underground. I could not adjust the room temperature. Breakfast was ok. The most I would have to complain about is having to go through 3 elevators to get to the rooms as it's on the 40th floor which is at the very top of the building. The pro was that the scenery is beautiful up there.”

“This is a fabulous hotel. Very well appointed rooms and what great views across the city. Great location, sights are walkable. Arriving by car and trying to get to the hotel on the 40th floor for the first time was a bit of an IQ test but the staff were very helpful guiding us. Decent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Check to see if the pool is open before paying a resort fee. Internet must be reset every 30 minutes or so--- an avoidable inconvenience. Nice staff and spacious rooms, and breakfast was simple but adequate.”

“We had an awesome stay for Lollapalooza festival. 15 min walk so perfect location! Small boutique 21 room hotel on 40th floor! Amazing view of the city and lake! View of the Allianz stage in Grant park was cool. This was a former private club in the former stock exchange building. Very quiet and super secure hotel. Can’t access building without key card and key card needed to get to 40th floor. Continental breakfast is included with amazing views! Definitely will be back!”

“Very well maintained 40th floor quiet property. 1 kitchen with pre packaged breakfast and 1 microwave, but wonderful amenities in the room for purchase. Very convenient to walk to food and transit.”

“The room is spacious and has an amazing view. The beds are comfortable and the free continental breakfast was unexpected but appreciated! Getting to the lobby from the underground parking garage was a little confusing, but once we figured it out, all was good. Maybe if there was a sign pointing you in the right direction, that might help?? Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.”

“This is a somewhat confusing hotel if you have never been there. The actual hotel is on the 40th floor of the building. When you go into the parking garage, you have to go through another door to get to the elevator that will take you to the lobby of the building. Then you walk several feet to another elevator to go to the 39th floor. From there you walk a few feet to a 3rd elevator to the 40th floor where the actual hotel is. The building staff was so patient and nice with us as we didn't have a clue how to get to the hotel and back to our car. About hotel staff: while courteous, they are, at best, mendacious, at worst, incompetent. In the rooms they have little signs that tell you to put the sign on the bed if you want fresh sheets and to leave the towels on the bathroom floor if you want fresh towels. That is what we did. When we got back that afternoon the bed was unmade and the towels were on the floor. We asked for towels and got them. We also asked for the room to be made up the next day which they said they would. When we got back the next afternoon the room was not serviced. When I asked the clerk, he said he did make a note about it but the cleaning crew had not got to it yet. So they changed the sheets and gave us fresh towels. When checking out the next day I asked why the room wasn't made up even though we did what the signs said. He said they don't go into the rooms every day so they didn't know. Good place if you are OK without fresh towels and sheets.”
