Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at the Buckmaster Inn. Liz and Rich were the most charming hosts and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and there was such a warmth to their hospitality that we felt almost as if we were staying with family.
Our room was stunning. The house itself is on the National Register of Historic Places and has so much character and history. Our room was beautifully furnished, as is the rest of the house, with wonderful attention to detail, lovely décor and a really cosy, homely feel.
Breakfast was an unexpected but wonderful surprise, with beautiful homemade cake, fresh fruit and another delicious breakfast dish. It was such a lovely way to start the day. Liz and Rich were also incredibly helpful in recommending places for us to visit and helping us make the most of our time in the area.
The location was very easy to navigate from, making it simple to explore the surrounding area.
We would return without hesitation. A very special place made even more memorable by such warm and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.

What struck us most was how immaculately clean everything was. Every corner of the inn was spotless. Our hosts were friendly, gracious, and accommodating, and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay.
The homemade breakfast was excellent, delicious and generous enough to keep us going well into the day.
If you're looking for a genuinely cozy stay in a beautiful setting with hosts who truly care, we cannot recommend The Buckmaster Inn highly enough.

Summary: We had such a lovely stay here! I booked the smallest room but it was so beautifully decorated and so cozy. The entire house was beautiful and the landscape nearby was gorgeous. Elizabeth was so sweet and friendly and made us feel right at home. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely incredible! We were able to stock up on local maple syrup right across the street before we left too. I definitely hope to stay here again someday.

Summary: Accommodations were very good, but the service was outstanding. Elizabeth remembered my need to be out the door early without a reminder and did a number of other very thoughtful and above and beyond little things during my stay.
