“Overall, the Carrick is the coolest, most spacious, and best appointed hotel on Bisbee. The staff is awesome, and the free drinks and snacks is a huge perk, in the vending/mini-bar hell that most hotels subject you to. The soaring views, and windows in our suite (101), were beyond compare. Also pet friendly!! How cool is that?!? Perfectly located for all of your Bisbee activities, so you can park your car and forget about it for your stay! Historic building. Historic views. Historically good times. You will want for nothing, at this place. Spend a few extra bucks, and find out what it means to go deluxe!”

“This is my second stay. The building was made into what looks like apartments and then a hotel. If you have mobility problems, stay somewhere else. My room: enter into a short hallway to a full-sized kitchen. But, halfway down that hall were three steps up to a landing. From there, 4 steps to a 3/4 bathroom; 90 degrees is 5 steps to the very nice TV room. Another 90 degree and you take 17 steps down to two bedrooms and a full bathroom! These aren't ADA stairs. But...I will stay again. It's a nice place and walkable to downtown. The deck is nice and large. Beds comfortable, bathroom large and clean. Plenty of hot water. The continental breakfast is minimal, so go to one of the coffee places downtown for breakfast.”

“The Carrick exceeded our expectations in many ways. We were concerned about parking, especially as the website said there was limited parking at the hotel. Perhaps our visit was at a less popular time of year (5/10 -5/12), but there was ample space opposite. Check-in was super easy. Even though we were an hour early, we were greeted at the lobby with a smile and the key to our room. The latter turned out to be an apartment for four! We should have realized that the 640 sq.ft. advertised was more than a bedroom with an attached bathroom! With the fully-fitted kitchen, we were in pig heaven. The deck was large, too, and looked to the hills of Bisbee. It was a glorious spot to relax on a warm day in May. The Carrick's location was perfect. We ambled to and up Main Street during our visit and popped into everything open! Younger folk would go further but we knew what toll it would take us to face the steps and hill going back to the Carrick. I had read the reviews online - particularly about breakfast. There is no dining room at the Carrick but the assortment of goodies left out for guests as breakfast/snack items cannot be faulted. All kinds of candies/cookies and drinks, too, were available free of charge in the Reception Lobby. The Carrick itself is an older, renovated property. It certainly passed muster as to cleanliness, but with older properties, there's always more that can be done. All in all, it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!”
