“The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. We were given the number for “Paul” who drove us in a tuk tuk throughout Port Isaac and beyond. My only complaints are the stairs we had to climb with our luggage and the bed was not that comfortable. But, the hotel has that old world Cornish charm and they serve great pub food. ”

“We are from Canada and we stayed there for for nights starting on July 3, 2023. Our first night we got a flat tyre on our rental car and the owner offered to pick us up in neighboring Bodin. We were lucky as the tow truck arrived quickly so it was not needed, but we appreciated the generous offer. We were given a nice large suite for a great price as we added a fourth night. The next morning the owner gave us ride into Port Isaac. The chef at the inn prepared some wonderful dishes. Chicken wings and fish pie were our favorites! Get there early if you want some fish pie. The pub was stellar as only in the tradition an old English pub should be. We hope to be back some day soon. Avoid the crowds in Port Issac and stay at the Cornish Arms Inn.😎”

“A quaint and convenient base for Port Isaac and other nearby sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. But note this is a communications blackout spot; even sat nav cuts out close to the inn, mobile signals are spotty at best, and the inn’s Wi-Fi just doesn’t work.”

“The rooms and all of the inn are thoughtfully and stunningly decorated. Everywhere is clean and bright, a real treat to stay here. Food delicious, staff are friendly and helpful, even had a fellow scouser to serve us breakfast. Good location to visit Port Isaac. All round highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.”

“Spent a couple of days mid week in Cornwall as a bit of a getaway. The welcome at the Cornish Arms was friendly quick and efficient, the room was spacious and clean. We ate there the first night as we had been driving for sometime. The food we had was good not too badly priced, the barmaid taking orders and serving the food, was under a bit of pressure but was in control and there wasn't an undue delay. The bed in the room was enormous and comfy, the walls in the room were either thin or the room next door were hard of hearing. The two days we were there, bin lorry's empties bins right under our window early in the morning, that's not a complaint they have to empty bins and the pub is on a main road which has quite a bit of traffic. The breakfast was excellent you certainly won't go hungry, nothing was too much trouble and service was prompt and friendly. We stopped two nights, our room was not service between the two nights we stayed this wasn't a problem for us but the tea and milk in the room wasn't replenished although had we asked, more would have been provided. We were very happy with the accommodation and enjoyed our short stay.”
