This is a a adorable place to stay. It is convenient to the Virginia Creeper Trail and to restaurants and shops in town. We had one small snag and they were attentive and fixed it by time we got back from our days activities. I would stay here again!
We stayed here one night so that we could ride the Virginia Creeper trail. It was a great choice. The inn is in the middle of town, so once we offloaded our bikes, we did not have to touch the car. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the inn. Elizabeth, the owner, was very responsive and helpful, even offering me an ice pack for an injured foot. Next time we are in this area, we'll stay here!
The Brother Bear room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. I would have given a higher rating except for the ants. They were all over the kitchen counter, climbing on my legs, my book. Very good location and we felt very safe.
